25 Oct 2019

Jack_mainFootball 快猫成版视频ie Jack Estabrooks came to 快猫成版视频 Allison from Sackville鈥檚 own Tantramar Regional High School. A running back, he played football all four years, winning a provincial championship in 2017, while also being named the top player in the conference. He chose to attend his hometown university and also chose to walk away from football.

Luckily for the 快猫成版视频ies, after taking a year off, Estabrooks decided to return to the sport he grew up playing in Sackville.

鈥淚t was a completely different lifestyle not having sports in my life every day,鈥 he says. 鈥淪ome of the players wanted me to come back, so I decided to try out this year.鈥

A running back who loves having the ball, Estabrooks has made an immense impact in his first year with the team. To date, he has run for a total of 437 yards, averaging 6.1 yards, and has scored three touchdowns.

He feels his greatest strength on the field is his ability to understand the game.

He says being a student-athlete has made his experience at 快猫成版视频 Allison a lot more exciting.

鈥淚 wake up every day and have the ability to play the game and be a part of the athlete atmosphere on campus,鈥 he says.

Estabrooks has helped lead the 快猫成版视频ies to three straight wins. For two consecutive weeks he was named the Subway player of the game, Athlete of the Week at 快猫成版视频 Allison, and was one of three AUS football players of the week.

鈥淚t鈥檚 humbling, but what I鈥檝e enjoyed the most is building a bunch of new friendships with the guys,鈥 he says.

A Commerce student, Estabrooks hopes to pursue a career in finance or accounting after graduation.
